      When Australia’s first Parliament was formed in 1829, dining at the building was only the privilege for members of Parliament, visiting dignitaries, consul representatives and members of the Royal family. Today, the Parliament House of New South Wales is open to all. Open Monday to Friday 12.00 pm – 3.00 pm on non-sitting days Bookings must be made via the NSW Parliament website. Menu available on the NSW Parliament website Meals range from $12 to $34. The Strangers’ Restaurant is located within the Parliament building and overlooks the beautiful Domain Gardens. Lunch at the Parliament provides the rare opportunity to experience the living history and explore the majestic artwork collection located within the Fountain Court of the Parliament House. Enjoy a fine dining experience which includes a rich array of gourmet New South Wales produce.
