      Homegrown Living : Kokedama Workshop

      Homegrown Living – Kokedama Workshop Originating in Japan, Kokedamas are hanging string and moss gardens that you can make easily, once you know how. Get your hands dirty. Learn about the sorts of plants that are suitable to 'kokedama' and how to create the appropriate soil mix. String up some sturdy succulents to take home. Booking terms and conditions No refunds for cancellations or missed bookings. Program swapping is not permitted. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people waiting in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue, and no refund will be issued. Wait list for sold out events For sold out events, join the wait list using the ‘Join Waitlist’ link on this page. Wait list will be notified of any cancellations up to one day prior to the event and invited to book for event. If you do not hear from us, no places have become available and you are encouraged to join the standby list on the day. Standby queue for sold out events On the day of event, see library staff to join standby queue. You will be asked to queue in the order that you arrived. If registered attendees do not arrive 10 minutes into the session, the standby queue will be admitted in order of arrival. There is no guarantee that places will become available. If all registered attendees arrive, no places will be made available to the standby queue.  Please have payment in cash only ready to ensure you are able to join the session quickly.  PLEASE NOTE: Attendance at our events may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or videos. These images may be used by Georges River Libraries in their publications, social media, council’s website or newspaper. Please notify staff if you do not wish to be filmed.
