      DANDE AND THE LION

MAD FER IT PROMOTIONS is super excited to bring their first ever live music event to the Factory Theatre this June, the first in a series of Live Band Nights coming throughout this year.

As their inaugural plunge into the Sydney live music scene, they’ve made sure to forge an unforgettable night headlined by locally-based Indie-Rock five piece Dande and The Lion. This group has been packing out houses in Sydney, Melbourne, and everywhere in-between with their dreamy, harmonised vocals. There is a distinctly Australian feel to their music, with sonic elements of The Preatures, Middle Kids, and Tame Impala, especially in the synthy, driving rhythm of their latest track Stardust.

Little Napier are back with a fresh rhythm section and a new lease on life. Since their brief hiatus in early 2014, they’ve taken time to redevelop their relationship with music and have smashed out a wealth of material. Their Debut Album ‘After All’ is to be released in 2019 and is a culmination of the band’s ethereal and hard hitting tone, swimming melodies and a tight and compact soundscape. Off the backend of their east coast tour, Little Napier is warmed up and ready to play.

Singer/Songwriter Huckleberry Hastings will also be there getting the night started with his new band. While his music comes from a blues-folk tradition, he sings of modern concerns, and it is all very convincingly sold by his gut-wrenching and powerful vocals.

We’re Mad Fer It. Get ready for it.

      Cost: $15.00 + Booking Fee
